Alan Watt  DC RCST

Welcome to my web site.

My first contact with chiropractic was as a patient in1983.  I received treatment from several Osteopaths and Chiropractors and eventually came across McTimoney Chiropractic.  When I had the opportunity to train this was the natural choice for me. McTimoney Chiropractic is a set of techniques whose gentleness makes it suitable for all ages.  My youngest client so far was three weeks old and the oldest, eighty-six years old.

I have been in full time practice in Loughborough since graduating from the McTimoney Chiropractic College (Oxford) in 1996.  I am a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and a member of the College of Chiropractors.  I am also registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

Graduates of the McTimoney College have completed 4 years of academic and practical studies with concurrent clinical practice. The course offered by the college has received accreditation as a B.Sc.(hons.) with the University of Wales and has been accredited by the General Chiropractic Council.

Subsequently I have gained a Diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy after two years study with the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London, and I am registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (UK).

I have lived in Leicestershire for over ten years.  My wife, Vasanthy Watt is an acupuncturist and Chinese medical herbalist.

As well as running my own clinic, Charnwood Chiropractic Clinic, 66 Loughborough Road, Quorn, Leicestershire, UK, I also practice from The Helix Centre a Centre for Complementary Health Care) 27 Bridge Street, Loughborough.
